Anderson’s Lodge is a premier fishing and hunting resort in Northwestern Ontario, located on Abram Lake just 9 miles south of Sioux Lookout. We offer world-class fishing for five species—Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, and Muskie—across eight lakes, including the legendary Lac Seul. Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Service Team for the summer season. As a team member, you will be an ambassador for the lodge’s dining experience, providing warm, personal attention that ensures guests feel welcome and valued.

This is a seasonal position running from May through September. Staff work a scheduled 35 to 44 hours per week with a variety of morning and evening shifts.

  • Compensation: Hourly wage supplemented by gratuities, averaging $20–$30 per hour.
  • Housing providing for full-time staff (shared accommodations with full kitchen).

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and present menus.
  • Describe menu items, including daily specials, and make recommendations.
  • Serve food and beverages with professionalism.
  • Advise guests on wine selections.
  • Take orders and relay them accurately to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Operate order-taking software and payment systems.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Assist with dishes, busing tables, and resets.
  • Prepare salads and pre-pour soups.
  • Assist with laundry as required.

Qualifications

  • Food and beverage serving experience is an asset.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Smart Serve Certification required.
  • Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
