Part-Time Medical Office Assistant (Temporary 1-Year Term)
Location: Canmore, Alberta
Starting Wage: $22.50/hour

Guardian Radiology is seeking a temporary part-time Medical Office Assistant to join our fast-paced, collaborative team in Canmore. This is a 1-year term position with the possibility of extension or transition into a permanent role, and is at a guaranteed 3 days (22.5 hours) per week, with the potential of additional hours for vacation and sick coverage.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and check in patients, creating a welcoming and professional experience
  • Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries as needed
  • Manage patient requisitions and medical correspondence (fax/email)
  • Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments efficiently
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain patient records

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong computer skills and quick adaptability to new software
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • MOA Certification or equivalent experience is an asset, but not required
