URGENT HIRING – IMMEDIATE JOINING REQUIRED

TMSI is currently seeking an experienced Ship’s Cook for immediate joining aboard a Canadian-flagged vessel operating in Eastern Canada.

Position: Ship’s Cook
Start Date: ASAP
Trading Area: Eastern Canada
Employment Type: Relief / Temporary (with potential for future opportunities)

Schedule: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotational. Payable bi-weekly.

Requirements:

  • Valid Transport Canada Marine Medical
  • Valid STCW Basic Safety (MED / Basic Safety Training)
  • Valid Vessel Personnel with Security Responsibilities (VPWSR) Certificate
  • Valid Passport
  • Authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Work Permit holder)
  • Previous Ship’s Cook experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, galley operations, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a clean and organized galley

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily meals for vessel crew
  • Maintain galley cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Manage food inventory and assist with provisioning
  • Comply with company safety, health, and sanitation procedures
