Full job description

Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and team-oriented Lab Technician to support our physicians and patients within our Interventional Pain Clinics. This role includes a combination of patient care, administrative support and assisting physicians during procedures. Training will be provided.

Essential Functions

  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, including blood pressure.
  • Support physicians and clinic staff with patient flow and day-to-day clinic needs.
  • Assist with patient forms, documentation and electronic medical records.
  • Answer patient calls and assist with booking and scheduling.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, including room setup and positioning of clinical equipment such as the C-arm. Training will be provided.
  • Maintain excellent communication with patients, physicians and team members.
  • Follow clinic safety, infection control and confidentiality policies.
  • Provide coverage and support to other team members as needed.
  • Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

  • Medical office or clinic experience preferred.
  • Experience initiating IVs is a strong asset.
  • Interventional pain or procedural experience is an asset but not required.
  • Current BLS certification.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
