Overview

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to employees and support the day-to-day operation of desktop systems, software, and network services. The successful candidate will troubleshoot technical issues, maintain IT equipment, and assist users with hardware and software support while working closely with the IT team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktop and laptop computers running Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral device issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
  • Assist users with Microsoft Office and other enterprise software.
  • Manage and resolve support requests using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Configure and troubleshoot LAN and VPN connectivity.
  • Perform routine software updates and security patch installations.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and support procedures.
  • Escalate complex issues when necessary and collaborate with other IT team members.
  • Deliver professional technical support while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an IT Support, Help Desk, or Technical Support role.
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and common business applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, VPN, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience using IT ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a team environment.
