MicroAge Prince George provides a wide range of managed IT services for businesses in our region. This includes maintaining networks, hardware, software, and the overall technical environment, including configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting. We are looking for a Technical Support Analyst to help our clients with these tasks.

Please Note: This is not a software development position. Only candidates located in Prince George will be contacted.

Here’s What Your Role Involves:

  • Support Clients: respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person; provide technical assistance and resolve issues promptly
  • Follow Procedures: follow SOPs, maintain documentation and diagrams for internal use or clients, and suggest new procedures when warranted
  • Maintain Systems: configure, maintain, monitor, and support computers, servers, networks, hardware, and software, including routine maintenance and updates
  • Resolve Issues: diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues for business clients
  • Improve Systems: analyze, design, plan, and implement security systems, network systems, or other IT systems to improve service delivery & client operations
  • Work Together: participate in weekly team meetings, work closely with team members, and collaborate with training

  • Technical Proficiency: strong understanding of computer equipment, computer systems, and computer networking
  • Communication Skills: exceptional ability on the phone or face to face; interpersonal skills and customer service skills are essential in this role

  • Responsible & Team Oriented: must work well within a team environment, can work independently with minimal supervision; trustworthy and reliable

Here’s Our Must-Have Requirements:

  • IT diploma or equivalent experience; technical certificates are an asset
  • Minimum 2 years experience in this field is required
  • Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange, Windows 10 & 7
  • Experience with ticketing systems, RMM platforms, writing documentation
  • Valid driver’s license and full-time access to a vehicle for daily client visits
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
