Senior IFS Assyst Implementation & Integration Specialist - Contract - 19356

About the Opportunity

Our public sector client is seeking two Senior IFS Assyst Implementation & Integration Specialists to support the management, maintenance, integration, and enhancement of an enterprise IT Service Management environment.

The successful candidates will provide senior technical expertise supporting IFS Assyst V11.3, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and ITSM capabilities. The environment includes designated and classified systems and integrates technologies such as Liferay, BIRT, Kerberos authorization, external forms, and Java based components.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Support the architecture, design, development, testing, integration, maintenance, and technical support of enterprise CMDB and ITSM solutions
Plan, configure, build, test, document, and release IFS Assyst software and approved changes or enhancements
Ensure compatibility and interoperability between IFS Assyst and other enterprise systems
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system interface requirements, system design specifications, build documentation, process documentation, scripts, configurations, and related ITSM documentation
Support Liferay and BIRT infrastructure, including configuration, testing, documentation, releases, and enhancements
Perform data migration and support the integrity and accuracy of information within the enterprise CMDB
Conduct business analysis of client requirements, procedures, workflows, and decision processes
Evaluate and improve service desk procedures and ITSM delivery processes
Define and document interfaces between automated and manual operations, application subsystems, and external systems
Provide technical support to application and infrastructure teams
Monitor and optimize database and server performance, including queries, indexes, database structures, resource utilization, and performance issues
Provide IFS Assyst knowledge transfer through briefings, presentations, and on the job training
Support the planning and implementation of a new ITSM toolset, including the migration of relevant and accurate IFS Assyst data and replication of required existing capabilities
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
A minimum of five (5) years experience, within the last ten (10) years, with Implementation/Integration Specialist experience including:
authoring and maintaining Project documentation
planning and implementing software systems
managing IT service management related data integration
A minimum of five (5) years experience, within the last ten (10) years, in designing, configuring, building, documenting and releasing Axios/IFS Assyst in a large scale, complex environment (50,000 users)
Advanced English oral, comprehension, and written communication skills
A valid Government of Canada Secret security clearance

Duration: September 14, 2026 to February 26, 2027, approximately 24 weeks
Location: West end, Ottawa, Ontario
Work Environment: Work will be performed at the designated client location and within designated and classified Secret environments
