Network Consultant (Contract Opportunities)
Ironclad TEK Inc. – Calgary, AB (Onsite)

Ironclad TEK is seeking experienced Network Consultants who thrive in fast-paced, technically challenging environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality solutions for enterprise clients.

We are currently engaging consultants on a contract basis, with multiple opportunities available across long-term client support, project delivery, and pre/post-sales engagements, as well as internal initiatives. Engagements range from full-time (40 hours/week) assignments to more flexible, project-based roles depending on client and business needs.

As part of our Consulting Services team, you will play a key role in designing, validating, and implementing network solutions across a diverse range of technologies and vendors, including:

  • Extreme Networks (formerly Avaya/Nortel)
  • Cisco
  • Fortinet
  • Check Point
  • Aruba
  • Juniper
  • Palo Alto Networks
  • Radware
  • And others

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement network solutions ranging from straightforward deployments to complex, multi-site environments
  • Engage directly with clients to manage project delivery, expectations, and technical outcomes
  • Support integration across infrastructure domains, including networking, security, wireless, servers, and storage
  • Contribute to pre-sales and solution validation activities as required

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or consulting roles
  • Proven experience working with enterprise networking technologies and multi-vendor environments
  • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to manage implementations end-to-end
  • Background in consulting firms, value-added resellers (VARs), or large corporate IT environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT operations models is an asset
