Full job description

Alliance Store Fixtures Inc. is a custom retail store fixtures manufacturer founded in 2001. We specialize in high-end brand millwork fabrication for jewelry stores. We are currently looking for candidates who are eager, enthusiastic and passionate about woodworking.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Study plans, specifications of drawings of articles to be made
  • Ability to read blueprints, manufacture and build cabinets from a blueprint
  • Operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape, and form parts and components
  • Make cutting lists to job specifications
  • Ability to work with sheet goods, veneers and solid wood
  • Prepare and assemble cabinets for installation
  • Install cabinets and custom millwork with a team

Experience / Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cabinet maker, or similar experience in the woodworking industry
  • Minimum secondary school education preferred
  • Good knowledge of cabinet construction ie: kitchens, bars, vanities and custom millwork
  • Skilled in machining, finishing and installation
  • Ability to use various hand and power tools such as sanders, routers, saws, and edge bander
  • Detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Open to ongoing learning and training
  • Positive attitude, dependable
  • Fast learner and energetic team player

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
