Full job description
Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in reading/writing and math
- Assist students in understanding and completing homework assignments
- Enhance students' understanding of the subject matter
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers regarding student progress and areas of improvement
-French knowledge is an asset
Skills:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject area being tutored
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Ability to establish rapport with students and create a positive learning environment
- Organizational skills to track student progress and maintain accurate records
