What we want

Under the responsibility of the Restaurant Manager, the Server's main objective is to welcome guests, take their order and serve them with courtesy. In addition, he/she must efficiently organize his/her service area and ensure the cleanliness of the premises at all times.

What you will do

• Greet guests, present the menu, make suggestions and answer questions;
• Advise guests while making additional sales;
• Prepare and serve beverages, liquor and wine;
• Collect payment and record sales;
• Perform set-up duties;
• Maintain and control inventory;
• Perform service according to the rules of the trade and ensure guest satisfaction;
• Get to know the tastes and habits of regular guests in order to ensure quality personalized service;
• Ensure that everything is in place for the next shift;
• Perform closing duties (tidying up, cleaning, garbage, closing refrigerators and pantries, etc.);
• Ensure a clean space by respecting the standards of hygiene and salubriousness of the MAPAQ;
• Carry out any other related task requested by his/her immediate superior or required by his/her duties.

Profile required

• At least one year experience in the food service industry
• Diploma in the restaurant, hotel or service industry; an asset;
• Knowledge of the characteristics of different wines and menus ; an asset ;
• Proficiency in restaurant software; an asset ;
• Ability to work long hours on your feet;
• Interpersonal skills and ability to listen to customer needs ;
• Good team spirit and positive attitude ;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Multidisciplinarity is essential;
• Good stress management (busy work environment);
• Attention to detail;
• Demonstrate autonomy;
• Sense of initiative;

Salary

According to the salary scale in effect plus benefits related to Nordik Spa-Nature.

Work schedule

Part-time: Our current needs are Saturday afternoons/evenings and Sunday daytime and evenings.
