At Blondies Pizza we serve the customer to the best of our abilities by offering high quality products and courteous service. If you feel like you're energetic and have a passion for food, especially great pizza, this is the place for you! At Blondies pizza we strive to be our best selves. We are looking for experienced candidates to help run our new North Oakville location.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow recipes, portion control and presentation specification as set by the corporate standards
  • Follow FIFO (First In First Out) to ensure quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Assist in food inventory and control for costs
  • Clean food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines
  • Scheduling staff and ensuring employee moral and control for costs
  • Food and labour remaining within the set standard budget for the restaurant
  • Training staff and ensuring the set guidelines are met, while maintaining morale
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in a fast-paced restaurant is an asset
  • Experience in customer service and/or hospitality
  • Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Able to stand for entirety of shift
  • Ability to lead and guide staff
