We are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent manager who will help support our clients and their businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

· Managing a portfolio of clients and projects and developing positive working relationships

· Review bookkeeping, compilation engagements, and tax returns prepared by team members

· Preparation of compilation engagements including financial statements and corporate tax returns

· Assistance with review, audit, and consulting engagements

· Review and preparation of GST, T4 and T5 information returns, and personal tax returns

· Review and processing of payroll

· Mentoring, motivating, and training team members

Qualities:

· Passionate about delivering high-quality work

· Understands and values the nature of client-advisor relationships

· Technologically savvy and open to adopting new technology

· Willingness to learn and grasps new concepts quickly

· Detail oriented and strong organizational skills

· Strong critical thinking skills

· Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience:

· Professional designation required (CPA, CA)

· Minimum five years public practice experience, preferably in a small or mid-sized firm

· Proficiency with software including Caseware, Profile, and Microsoft Office

· Familiar with QuickBooks Online and Xero (preferred)

Education:

· Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
