Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Restaurant Manager/Supervisor to oversee evening operations, supervise staff, and ensure smooth day-to-day restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility for the restaurant during busy dinner and closing shifts.

  • Location: Woodbridge, Ontario
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, 5–6 days per week
  • Pay: $22–$24 CAD/hour
  • Position Overview

Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory control
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise team members to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold food safety standards
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency in every dish served
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Conduct interviews and assist with hiring new staff to build a strong, capable team
  • Monitor food handling practices to comply with health regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant management, including kitchen operations and food safety protocols
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively
  • Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cash handling and order processing
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
