Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Your energetic approach will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use, supporting our chefs and food service staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold health and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, sinks, dishwashing machines, and storage areas
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen workflow
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and recyclables to keep the workspace tidy
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items for food service
  • Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to prevent accidents or contamination
  • Restock dishware and utensils in their designated areas for easy access during service hours

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
  • Strong understanding of cleaning protocols, food handling, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen operations including food preparation and food service practices
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting busy kitchen environments
  • Familiarity with hotel or food service experience is a plus but not required
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety at all times
