Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. This role involves taking customer orders, processing payments, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food handling and POS systems are preferred. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in the food industry while ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and accurate cashiering.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and integrity.
  • Assist in food preparation when necessary, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining tables, counters, and cashier stations, following food safety guidelines.
  • Manage order timing to ensure prompt service during busy hours.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
  • Proficiency in POS systems for accurate cashiering.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously.
