Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The position is perfect for individuals with a background in the food industry who enjoy working in a team-oriented setting.

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
  • Handle food with care, adhering to proper food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Assist in meal preparation during busy service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
  • Support other kitchen staff as needed, including serving customers when required
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Familiarity with food handling, cooking techniques, and meal preparation processes is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry is highly desirable
  • Experience with serving customers or working in a fast-paced kitchen setting will be considered a plus
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential for success in this role
