Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced Servers to join our Miki's team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, willingness to clean and ability to multi task. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and speed are valued. Prior restaurant or food service experience is essential. The position involves food and beverage service, maintaining cleanliness standards, and assisting in take out orders and packing, all while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Skip/Uber
• Serve food and drinks promptly
• Handle cash and process payments accurately
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in accordance with food safety standards
• Ensure adherence to food handling and sanitation protocols for guest safety
• Manage time efficiently to serve multiple tables during busy periods without compromising service quality
• Provide guest services that promote a welcoming atmosphere and encourage repeat visits

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and serving techniques within the hospitality industry
• Ability to work well in a team setting with kitchen staff and fellow servers
• Strong communication skills to ensure clear interactions with guests and team members
• Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling opportunities

Tips are pooled, split with kitchen and calculated daily based off of hours worked. All staff receive %20 off Miki's Breakfast and Sushi. Shifts vary from 4 to 8 hours.

MUST BE 19+ and have a VALID Serving It Right.

Pay: From $17.85 per hour
