Full-Time Kitchen Staff – Sushi Nomi

Sushi Nomi in downtown Victoria is looking for a reliable and hardworking Full-Time Kitchen Staff member to join our team.

We are looking for someone who works well in a busy restaurant environment, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in keeping high standards of food quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist with food preparation
  • Assist with sushi and Japanese food preparation as needed
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods
  • Support other kitchen team members as needed
  • Follow recipes, portion standards, and restaurant procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset
  • Sushi or Japanese restaurant experience is an asset
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Full-time availability is required
