*Job Summary*

We are seeking for passionate Kitchen cooks and Sushi cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine, As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring a delightful dining experience for our guests. Your expertise in food safety and kitchen management will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

*Duties*

- Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, adhering to traditional techniques and recipes.

- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of all food items.

- Supervise kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring efficient workflow and team coordination.

- Manage inventory of sushi ingredients, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock levels.

- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and best practices.

- Assist with menu development by suggesting new sushi items or seasonal specials based on ingredient availability.

- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and accommodating special requests when possible.

*Skills*

- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi preparation techniques.

- Experience in kitchen operations within a restaurant environment.

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.

- Excellent team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and front-of-house staff.

- Previous experience in restaurant management or bartending is a plus but not required.
