Front of House ServerJoin Our Team

We’re getting ready to open our doors and are looking for friendly, passionate, and hospitality-minded Front of House Servers to join our team!

Our restaurant is a Japanese-inspired cold bar with a focus on sushi, seafood, wine, and sake. We’re creating a relaxed, welcoming space where great food, thoughtful drinks, and genuine hospitality come together.

We’re looking for people who enjoy working with others, care about creating a great experience for guests, and are excited to be part of a new restaurant from the beginning. We welcome both experienced hospitality professionals and enthusiastic people who are eager to learn and grow with us.

The Role

As a Front of House Server, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm and memorable experience for our guests. You’ll work closely with the front and back of house teams to keep service running smoothly and make sure our guests feel well taken care of.

Responsibilities include:

  • Welcome guests warmly and create a friendly, comfortable dining experience.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and help guests navigate the menu.
  • Share recommendations and introduce guests to our sushi, Japanese-inspired dishes, wine, and sake.
  • Build knowledge of our menu, ingredients, preparations, allergens, wine, and sake.
  • Deliver food and beverages with care and attention to detail.
  • Provide attentive and genuine hospitality throughout the guest experience.
  • Answer guest questions and respond to requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle payments and cash responsibly.
  • Make thoughtful recommendations and help create additional sales through genuine hospitality.
  • Keep the front of house clean, organized, and welcoming throughout service.
  • Follow restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, and service standards.
  • Communicate and work closely with the kitchen and front of house team.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and other restaurant duties as needed.
  • Help create a positive, respectful, and fun team environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous serving or hospitality experience is an asset.
  • A genuine interest in food, hospitality, Japanese cuisine, wine, and/or sake.
  • Friendly, warm, and approachable personality.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to stay organized during busy service.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • An interest in learning more about sushi, Japanese cuisine, wine, and sake.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Serving It Right certification is required.

Availability

We’re looking for team members who are available to work a combination of weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
