Looking for part time & full time Kitchen assistants to join our family run, fast paced, sushi restaurant in Chilliwack. Hana sushi restaurant. Est.1996

  • Attention to cleanliness, personal, food and kitchen safety

  • Staff meals provided
  • Knife skills and prep equipment knowledge needed

Schedule

  • Half day shifts (closing/opening)
  • Day shift / afternoon-evening shift
  • Shifts with breaks
  • Holidays
  • Weekend availability

Responsibilities

  • Help prepare meals according to established recipes and standards
  • Line cooking depending on progress.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling

  • General kitchen work and cleaning of equipment and workspace.
  • Capable with dishwashing, cleaning and putting dishes away.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred

  • Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
