Sushi Chef

Ki Sushi is looking for an experienced and reliable Sushi Chef to join our team in Calgary.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, maki rolls, and specialty rolls
  • Maintain quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with inventory management and daily prep work
  • Work closely with kitchen staff during service hours
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Ensure consistency and presentation of all sushi products

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sushi Chef
  • Strong knife skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of sushi preparation and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
