Sushi Roll Cook

1001 Nuits Halal Asian Cuisine is hiring an experienced Sushi Roll Cook to join our sushi team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sushi rolls quickly and consistently
  • Make maki rolls, California rolls, spicy rolls, tempura rolls, and hand rolls
  • Prepare sushi ingredients, sauces, vegetables, and fillings
  • Follow portion sizes and presentation standards
  • Keep the sushi station clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Work efficiently during busy dinner and weekend service
  • Help reduce food waste and maintain product quality

Requirements:

  • Previous sushi roll-making experience is required
  • Must be fast, organized, and reliable
  • Able to work independently during busy service
  • Good knife skills and attention to detail
  • Must follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • English or French communication skills
