Full job description

Position: Server / Waitress / Waiter
Location: Tobiko Sushi (Surrey, BC, Fleetwood)

About Us:
Tobiko Sushi is a busy, family-owned Japanese restaurant dedicated to delivering high-quality food and warm hospitality. We are looking for an energetic and reliable team player to join our front-of-house staff.

Role & Duties:

  • Greet and seat guests, present menus, and take food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Serve dishes and drinks promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
  • Operate the cash register, process payments (cash, debit, credit, gift cards), and balance transactions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area and front counter.
  • Assist with side duties, restocking, and opening/closing procedures as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-6 months of experience working in the food and beverage serving industry.
  • Hands-on experience operating a cash register and POS ordering systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can work 3 shifts per week and 1 year commitment to the job
