Full job description

Sukiyaki House is looking for passionate and motivated servers to join our team. At Sukiyaki House we focus on traditional sushi and Japanese cuisine, done with a modern flair and elegance. Our ideal candidate will be learning the fine details about Japanese cuisine, sake, while providing world-class customer service to our guests.

Some of the job duties, but not limited to:

  • cleaning all job stations
  • bar preparation and inventory management
  • catered suggestions and recommendations to customers
  • hosting, takeout orders, phone reservations
  • serving customers and anticipating changing needs and requests
  • providing world-class customer service and enhancing dining experiences through knowledge and education

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • 2-years experience in the industry
  • Experience in Japanese cuisine is recommended but not necessary
  • knowledge on sake and Japanese food is an asset
  • basic serving knowledge and cleanliness

Expectations:

  • all servers (even with experience) must start as server assistants to learn all necessary and associated jobs. They include but are not limited to: cleaning, closing, bussing, hosting, takeout.
