Overview

Maru Sushi is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly while supporting our chefs.

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes and kitchen equipment
  • Prepare vegetables and ingredients
  • Assist chefs with food preparation
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized
  • Receive and organize deliveries
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Other general kitchen duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Japanese restaurant is required.
  • Experience as a Kitchen Helper or Prep Cook is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Japanese restaurant kitchen operations and food preparation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Able to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
