Teacher Teaching On Call (TTOC) Culinary Arts - Teaching Chef position

A Teaching Chef's job duties include demonstrating the proper techniques to prepare food, showing students how to use kitchen equipment, and teaching a variety of recipes. You may also develop lesson plans and collaborate with other teachers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education (Elementary or Secondary) degree, or equivalent training
  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate
  • Red Seal Certification required


For your application to be considered, all required documents must be included with your application which include:

  • resume
  • cover letter
  • recent teaching reports and/or practicum reports (if available)
  • copy of BC Teaching Certificate and/or TQS card or information on current status

Salary range is $59,711 to $109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement. In the event the 2025 Salary Grid is made available the current grid will be updated.
