Full job description

Responsibilities:
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist the cook or chef in various tasks as needed
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify supervisor when items need to be restocked
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service industry is preferred
- Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks and food preparation techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Note: This position does not involve cooking or preparing complex dishes. It is primarily focused on assisting in meal preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
