Outside Sales Rep position (bilingual: Japanese) at True World Foods of Canada (Richmond, BC)

We are currently seeking Bilingual Sales Representative (Japanese/English).

Position Summary:

Actively maintains an excellent relationship with existing clients and participates in the development of new customers and new markets.

Client & Territory Management

  • Own full-cycle sales operations within assigned regions, including prospecting, negotiations, deal closing, and account retention.
  • Create and execute territory plans; prioritize opportunities and allocate time across clients and prospects.

Resource Control & Decision-Making

  • Independently set pricing, discounting, and contract terms within pre-approved authority limits.

Workflow & Process Optimization

  • Adjust internal processes—like order workflows or customer onboarding—to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholder involvement (e.g., operations, finance, logistics) to fulfill customer needs and meet commitments.

Autonomous Scheduling

  • Plan sales calls, client visits, and meetings independently; reprioritize as necessary to address business goals or urgent client requirements.

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor and achieve sales KPIs (e.g., revenue targets, margins, pipeline growth).Deliver weekly/monthly progress reports and forecasts to Sales Management.

Working conditions

  • Working hour begins from 8:30 –5:00 (finishing time may vary based on necessary job completed as sales (M-F )
  • Receiving order call or text message from customers all the time
  • 60-50 % of working hours will be outside in the field to visit customers

Qualification:

  • Fluent in English written and verbal communication
  • Bilingual: Japanese
  • 2-4-year sales experience is plus
  • Work experience at restaurants is plus
  • Valid Driver License and driving history
