Independent Contractor – IT Technician – CCTV, Intercom Access Control

Alarvac Systems Inc. is an established professional company specializing in low-voltage installations such as security cameras, alarm systems, intercoms, and central vacuums.

Job Description:

We have openings for Independent Contractors - IT Technician, for CCTV, Intercom, Access Control and other Networking assignements.

Responsibilities

  • Program and network CCTV camera systems
  • Program and network Intercoms, Video Intercoms and other Access Control devices.
  • Install and program WiFi equipment: Router, WAN, Mesh, etc.
  • Service calls – troubleshooting, programming and networking.
  • Working with customers, training end users

Qualifications

  • Must have insurance as a commercial sub-contractor
  • Must have own vehicle, driver’s license and tools of the trade.
  • Located in the GTA and legally able to work in Canada
  • Experience in programming and networking CCTV Camera Systems
  • Experience in programming and networking Video Intercom Systems, Commercial Intercom Systems, and other Access Control systems.
  • Experiencing with networking, WiFi, Routers, Switches, WAN, Mesh
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work and communicate with clients

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
