Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team at Earls Kitchen Brentwood. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, food safety, and delivering excellent customer experiences. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
  • Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
  • Support food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients and equipment
  • Assist with food plating and garnishing to ensure visually appealing dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold a safe working environment

Experience

  • Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety standards is highly desirable
  • Experience in meal preparation and kitchen operations within the food industry will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and ability to work efficiently under pressure is a plus
