Caring Touch is currently seeking a Home Support Worker – Housekeeping Focus to provide support to clients in their homes.

This position is primarily focused on housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable home environment, while also providing general home support and companionship as required by the client’s care plan.

This is a Part-Time Casual position with the potential for Full-Time hours in the future (no guarantee). Flexibility is required, as shifts may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and shorter shifts depending on client needs.

Job Overview

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Health Care Aide Diploma or Home Support Worker Diploma preferred

  • Effective communication skills with clients and their families
  • Ability to work across multiple locations (Valid BC Driver’s License and own vehicle required, including a Driver Factor Report)
  • Two professional references
  • Clear criminal record check
  • COVID-19 immunization record
  • Recent TB shots/immunization record
  • Medication Administration Certificate
  • Food Safe BC Certificate
  • CPR/First Aid Certificate
