Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing all restaurant functions, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness standards
• Supervise and motivate staff members to ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction
• Manage daily operations such as cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS, and inventory control
• Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members
• Maintain food safety standards by ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality and consistency across all menu items
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow during busy hours and ensure timely service
• Assist in training team members on food industry best practices, including bartending, serving, barista skills, and hospitality protocols

Skills

• Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
• Strong knowledge of restaurant management operations including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
• Demonstrated leadership in high-pressure situations with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Skilled in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees to build effective teams
• Familiarity with restaurant experience including serving, bartending, barista work, and hotel or hospitality environments is a plus
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety protocols within the food industry
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
