Full job description

Job Purpose: Coordinate production and output to meet sales requirements for all Automotive and Direct/Consignment customers

Duties:

  • Responsible to observe all of Morbern’s occupational health and safety rules. This ensures your personal safety and the safety of others and also assists Morbern in promoting safety at work for all employees.
  • Manage all aspects of Automotive and Direct customers requirements
  • Plan required production based on customer demand.
  • Initiate required production orders in schedule.
  • Work with Planning and Quality teams daily to review and prioritize release of production orders.
  • Manage and process all automotive customer shipments including all required shipping documents
  • Monitor and maintain daily inventory levels at warehouses.
  • Communicate as needed with customers to address and resolve any potential supply concerns or required expedite shipments.
  • Manage custom label requirements as required.
  • Manage planning and shipments for value-added processes such as perforation and lamination.
  • Provide customer service support to warehouses.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, case management, supply chain, logistics, industrial distribution, or a related field.
  • Degree in Business Administration or College diploma in same or equivalent experience in the same field
  • Experience in the automotive supply industry is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Professional and confident in handling customer concerns and challenging situations.
  • Experience with inventory control, production planning, or scheduling is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; AS400 and EDI experience is an asset.
  • Provide customer service support to warehouses.
  • Superior knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Proven customer support experience

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
  • Logistics experience considered an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • EDI working knowledge considered an asset.
  • Ability to learn and build knowledge of plant procedures and product constructions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
