Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and organized Store Supervisor to support daily store operations and lead our sales team. As a Store Supervisor, you will perform all duties of a Sales Clerk while overseeing staff and ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations. You will work closely with the Store Manager and participate in weekly management meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

  • Manage day-to-day store operations
  • Organize and delegate daily duties to staff
  • Assist with product ordering and receiving orders
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints, ensuring excellent customer service from all staff
  • Manage returns, breakage, and expired items
  • Ensure regular inventory counts are completed
  • Complete administrative tasks
  • Maintain adequate store and cleaning supplies
  • Ensure all monthly check-ups and assigned duties are completed
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Store Manager

Staffing & Leadership

  • Train staff and complete all required training tasks
  • Address employee performance or behavior issues
  • Report staff issues to the Store Manager when necessary
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding new employees
  • Assist with employee performance reviews

Qualifications

  • Previous retail or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve
  • Customer-service focused with attention to detail
  • Reliable and organized
