EVENTS COORDINATOR - CALEDON (ALTON), ON

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Events Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Events Programming Manager and working closely with the Sales team, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and coordination of various events across the property to ensure Guest objectives are captured and memorable Guest experiences are achieved.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Management

  • Working closely with clients to understand their event goals, providing recommendations and tailored solutions for golf tournaments, corporate events, social events, accommodations, and other resort services.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with Guests, ensuring their needs are met and providing an outstanding guest experience.

Event Management & Execution

  • Coordinating and detailing all aspects of golf tournaments and events, including golf operations, food and beverage, event timelines, guest requirements, on-course activations, and other event logistics, ensuring all details are accurately captured in Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communicated to internal departments.
  • Delegating executional responsibilities for all assigned bookings through the BEO meeting process.
  • Operational support for all large events at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, including administration, operational plan development with clients, and event day operations execution.
  • Supports the team for any PGA TOUR event hosted at the property in all aspects of the tournament, including day-to-day operations.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Collaborating across the operation to ensure seamless execution of booked events.
  • Assists Directors, and Events Programming Manager in any additional tasks required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-3 years of events-related experience,
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management, marketing, or related field.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in or familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Maestro).
