Railcar/Tank Cleaner

Platinum Solutions Ltd is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our company. When it comes to Rail-Car cleaning Safety, Efficiency and Reliability are key. Maintaining a clean and safe fleet of Rail- Cars is absolutely essential to longevity of an operation and staying compliant with regulatory bodies. Our dedicated team of employees help us achieve industry success which allows us to offer competitive wages and consistent work. A probationary period will apply for the first 3 months of employment.

Skills and Qualifications

· Must have H2S, Standard First Aid, Confined Space and CSO tickets

· Ability to read and write (English) general documentation

· Safety conscious, exerting best effort to protect our entire team and company property

· Willing to work long hours

· Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

· Physically fit, including the ability to pull oneself up and down from railcars

· Able to lift, twist and work at heights with appropriate restraints and fit through man-way entry

· Candidates must be willing to travel and work out of town on a regular basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site

· Clean inside rail cars including interior scraping, brushing, washing & sweeping

· Ensure railcars meet the standards for loading product

· Confined space entry through man way lid

· Interpret work orders and complete thorough, precise cleaning

· Safely operate hand and air tools

· Complete daily reports, logs, and work orders

· Promptly report all safety and equipment concerns to management or site designate

· Provide excellent customer service while promoting a superior company image

· Meet all customer site requirements including clear drug/alcohol testing

· Always implement safe work practices in a high hazard work environment

Company safety courses will be required online prior to your start date.

Course examples: CSTS 2020, WHMIS, First Aid, Confined Space, PPE, Equipment & Tools, etc.
