Superintendent jobs in Dundas, ON

GRRC Roofing is looking for a Site Superintendent to oversee sites and roofing crews to ensure jobs are being done in a timely manner. The duties and responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Planning the work to be done, getting the necessary personnel, and assigning the right duties to the right people
• Assigning and putting the correct people on sites, as well as reprimanding and firing workers when needed
• Coordinating tasks on different sites to ensure uniformity upon project completion
• Ensuring timely completion of the project to build client trust while avoiding unnecessary penalties
• Working within the budget by adequately estimating the costs and cutting unnecessary expenses
• Communicating with each job locations point of contact to ensure all rules are being followed
• Procuring and allocating resources to ensure there is no shortage while avoiding any unnecessary delays caused by management decisions
• Developing a plan of work for each site so each project can finish on time
• Excellence in planning how each process should be done, how resources are to be acquired, and when the project should be completed
• Reviewing the work of the Construction Crew to determine whether quality standards are being observed
• Working directly with the company owner to provide updates on job sites

This job is in person and would need the flexibility to drive to locations all over the GTHA and Niagara Region

Requirements:

-1-2 year of Roofing experience (preferred)

-2-3 years as a Superintendent/ Project Management

-Working at Heights Certifications

-Basics of Supervision (preferred)

-Ability to be a leader and supervisor for over 60 roofing employees

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$57.00 per hour
