We are looking for a Warehouse Lead with experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving within a retail or distribution environment. In this role, you will support daily warehouse operations, ensure procedural compliance, and help maintain accurate inventory while contributing to a strong team culture.

Warehouse Lead – Your Role

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Warehouse Lead plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring company procedures are properly executed. We are seeking an ambitious, organized, and results-driven individual with experience in inventory, warehousing, shipping/receiving, and loss prevention.You will demonstrate structured leadership by supporting the warehouse team in executing operational procedures established by the Head Office. Ensuring compliance with company standards and maintaining operational accuracy and efficiency will be your top priorities.

Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations & Inventory Control

  • Manage daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
  • Offload trucks, verify skid or piece counts, and report shortages or damages
  • Complete and verify shipping, receiving, and transfer documentation
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and follow company procedures
  • Reduce inventory shrinkage by properly handling and documenting defective items
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and operating efficiently
  • Follow safe material handling and workplace safety practices
  • Perform additional warehouse, inventory, and operational support duties as assigned by Management.

Leadership & Team Support

  • Lead and support warehouse and shipping/receiving operations on a daily basis
  • Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment
  • Communicate effectively with Head Office and other store locations
  • Ensure company procedures are followed consistently
  • Train and support team members to improve performance

What You Bring

  • Minimum 1 year warehouse leading experience (required)
  • Minimum 2 years receiving/shipping experience (required)
  • Experience in the tool industry or related industrial sector is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory procedures
  • Ability to work in an organized, structured manner with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to adapt to changes, delays, and unforeseen events professionally
  • Forklift experience
  • Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Additional Requirements

The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to ensure effective communication and reporting.

  • This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours per week).
  • Monday to Saturday (Saturday work is mandatory).
  • Sunday (closed) and one weekday, plus statutory holidays off.
  • Overtime may be required based on operational needs
  • In-person position
