We are currently recruiting of our 2024 Summer Season at Walnut Beach Resort. We looking for highly motivated, positive, and energetic individuals to join our F&B team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on excellence and innovation.

Join our dynamic, diverse team at Walnut Beach Resort as a Pointe49 Kitchen & Bar Server.

Surrounded by vineyards, orchards and Lake Osoyoos in the backyard we are a 112 room resort offering modern amenities, an onsite restaurant and bar, and Osoyoos's only licenced private beach bar! Reporting directly to the F&B Manager, this position will play a key role in showcasing and promoting food and beverage at the resort. Position includes working our dining room, room service, poolside, patio, and beach area.

With the help of great people like you, our resort is looking to expand and grow the F&B service offering for the busy season running from May through September.

  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, executing them efficiently, and building a rapport with our guests
  • Demonstrate teamwork and communicates positively and professionally to all departments to ensure that guest needs are being met at all times.
  • Demonstrate and adhere to proper steps in responsible service of alcohol
  • Exercise sound judgment and possess good problem-solving skills.
  • Maximize sales opportunities by becoming an expert on all beverage and food offerings, demonstrating salesmanship by suggestively selling
  • Provide genuine hospitality by engaging with guests throughout their entire experience, maintaining a positive personality throughout
  • Effectively communicate ideas, suggestions, and solutions to team members and management
