Full job description

Manning Park Resort is a year-round resort located between Hope and Princeton, BC. If you are ready to leave the hustle and bustle of city life, and enjoy outdoor fun and adventure, this place is for you. Staff housing is available, so your dream of living in the mountains is part of your adventure at Manning Park Resort.

We are presently looking for our next great team member as a Country Store Clerk to join our Food & Beverage team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you!


Responsibilities Include (But not limited to):
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist guests with purchases and inquiries
  • Accurately process sales transactions and handle cash to ensure balanced tills
  • Answer customer questions and provide product recommendations
  • Sell age-restricted products, including alcohol, in compliance with applicable regulations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail environment
  • Restock shelves and merchandise retail products
  • Receive, price, and display new inventory
  • Assist with inventory counts and ordering of food, beverage, and souvenir items
  • Support other resort departments as required to meet seasonal operational needs
  • Other tasks as required within MPR.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must be 19 years of age or older (legal requirement to sell alcohol)
  • Possess or willingness to obtain Serving It Right certification
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and twisting
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Previous retail, customer service, and cash-handling experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of the surrounding area, or a willingness to learn

This is a year-round position with a start date in May or June.
