Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, food safety, and customer interaction within a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Duties

  • Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches and salads according to Subway standards
  • Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections
  • Operate the POS system, for order processing and cash handling
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained
  • Handle food properly, adhering to health regulations and safety guidelines
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment throughout shifts
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems, and cash handling skills
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately
  • Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus
  • Ability to upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
