The Sandwich Maker plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through quality food preparation and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
• Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during peak hours
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food prep areas in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience
• Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with kitchen organization for efficient workflow

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment is preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Pay: $18.25 per hour
