Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you'll be essential in preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring that every dish meets our quality standards. If you love working in a fast-paced kitchen and enjoy creating great food, this position is perfect for you!

Duties

  • Assist in preparing ingredients and food items according to established recipes and safety standards.
  • Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation quality.
  • Support food safety protocols by handling ingredients properly and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Help with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and organizing supplies for smooth kitchen operations.
  • Ensure all food is stored correctly, rotating stock to prevent waste and spoilage.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning stations, utensils, and equipment regularly.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service during busy hours.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
  • Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment helps you adapt quickly.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes enhances your effectiveness on the line.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and support smooth kitchen operations.
