Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Team Member to join our dynamic team in the food industry. As a vital part of our restaurant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

-Interacting with customers to take orders or accommodate specific requests related to food preparation.

-They are responsible for preparing ingredients, such as slicing bagels and cheeses, chopping vegetables, and assembling ingredients for sandwiches and salads.

-They assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes or customer preferences.

-Ensuring that all food items meet quality standards, including freshness, proper portioning, and presentation.

-Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food, storage procedures, and cleanliness of work areas.

-Working closely with other staff, servers, and cashier to ensure efficient operations and timely service to customers.

-Cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout shifts.

-Monitoring and restocking ingredients and supplies as needed during shifts, and reporting shortages to management.

- Interacting with customers to take special orders or accommodate specific requests related to food preparation.

Experience:
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Understanding of food safety practices and ability to maintain a sanitary work environment
