Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and salads according to Subway standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate the Micros POS system for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Handle cash register operations with accuracy and professionalism.
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with kitchen organization to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Good time management skills to manage multiple orders during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for order calculations and cash handling.
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales is advantageous.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment. Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
