Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Subway Sandwich Artist, where you’ll be the friendly face and culinary expert behind our fresh, made-to-order sandwiches. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food preparation skills, deliver exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming environment for every guest. As a vital part of our restaurant team, you’ll help us serve delicious, high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Duties

  • Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, ensuring freshness and quality standards are met.
  • Operate the Micros Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for order processing and cash handling.
  • Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment to ensure food safety compliance.
  • Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
  • Follow all food handling procedures and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of guests and team members.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; training will be provided.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, order totaling, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift moderate weights as needed in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; willingness to learn new technology is essential.
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
