Substitute Teacher jobs in Vancouver, BC

Tiny Hoppers Queensborough is a brand new daycare and we are looking for on call teachers to join our sub list.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Follow lesson plans as directed by the absent teacher
• Support other Early Childhood Educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• Supervise children in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground, and in the nap room.
• Maintain a clean, respectful, and orderly classroom
• Following policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of the children and staff.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid BC ECE or IT certificate
• Must have a valid first aid certificate
• Must have a valid Criminal Record Check
• Knowledge of licensing regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Ability to adapt plans to specific classrooms
