Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking motivated, outgoing, and self-driven Independent Sales Representatives to join our field sales team in the Ottawa area. This is a door-to-door, high commission-based sales opportunity ideal for Summer Students and Sales individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, face-to-face environment and are motivated by performance-based earnings. You drive to potential clients homes, assess their needs and create opportunities to sell.

As a 1099-style independent contractor (self-employed), you'll have the flexibility to set your own schedule and build your income through high-commission sales - but you must meet certain lead generation quotas. Earn 17% commission base level on every closed deal you personally generate.

You will be provided with gear, pitching training, and programs to help you on field. Extra compensation models will be provided to our top earning sales representatives - such as bonus pays and increased commission percentages to 22% once certain quotas have been met.

Duties

  • Conduct door-to-door sales in residential or small business areas within your assigned territory
  • Be able to work with a co-sales representative if directed to canvas out a neighbourhood for sales
  • Be able to go to neighbourhoods when directed by executives
  • Identify potential leads, engage prospects, and present the value of our product/service clearly and persuasively
  • Generate around 5 leads per day to our CRM platform and maintain communication with your executives
  • Close deals and ensure proper documentation is completed for each sale
  • Maintain knowledge of company offerings, pricing, and promotions
  • Manage follow-ups and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Track and report your own sales performance regularly
  • Represent our brand image appropriately

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales, direct sales, or customer service is an asset (but not required)
  • Comfortable working outdoors and walking for extended periods
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Must have a smartphone or tablet to process sales and communications
  • Access to transportation is needed, you must be able to commute efficiently and to different neighbourhoods across the city

This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced socialized environment and is passionate about driving results through strategic initiatives.
